Creating and enabling policy environment for furthering biodiversity conservation in the state is also one of the key concerns directing the board's action. Analysis and review of existing policy instruments for assessing their impact on biodiversity and designing mechanisms and developing avenues for incorporation of biodiversity issues in existing policies are the major initiatives.
