The diversity and richness of natural endowments
and associated traditional knowledge systems are critical for
livelihoods of a large proportion of the State's populace. Helping
the people translate this unique strength into answers for
sustainable livelihoods and addressing Intellectual Property Rights concerns through
empowering regimes of sustainable use and equitable benefit sharing
are board's constant endeavor. Addressing the issues of sustainable
use and equitable benefit sharing the following outputs have been
envisioned:
- Functional models of Sustainable harvest of focal taxa ( 1-2
species)
- Establishing models of BD based enterprises
